NOTICE OF VACANCY

 

 

POSITION:                JUNIOR VARSITY BASEBALL COACH

     

REPORTS TO:            Athletic Director

 

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1. Shall exhibit high moral and ethical conduct and display a positive value system.
2. Shall be a positive role model for the athletes.
3. Shall be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the sport to be coached.
4. Ability to display good judgment in dealing with parents, team, administration, the public, and the media.
5. Shall be able to serve as an effective mentor/leader.

 

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Valid Michigan Teachers Certificate.
2. Prior experience as a coach.
3. Experience with an educational institution.
4. An analytical skill coupled with the ability to communicate with others.
5. Ability to work democratically with others.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  The coach shall be directly responsible to the Athletic Director for the administration, supervision, and evaluation of matters pertaining to his/her assigned areas of responsibilities.  He/she is responsible for the organization, coordination, and interpretation of the sport being coached.

 

SALARY:  As per contract.
