                                                                             NOTICE OF VACANCY

 

 

POSITION:                JUNIOR HIGH BASEBALL COACH

     

REPORTS TO:            Athletic Director

 

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Shall exhibit high moral and ethical conduct and display a positive value system.
  2. Shall be a positive role model for the athletes.
  3. Shall be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the sport to be coached.
  4. Ability to display good judgment in dealing with and communicating with parents, team, administration, the public, and the media.
  5. Shall be able to serve as an effective mentor/leader.

 

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Valid Michigan Teacher's Certificate.
  2. Prior experience as a coach.
  3. Experience with an educational institution.
  4. Ability to work democratically with others.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  The coach shall be directly responsible to the Athletic Director for the administration, supervision, and evaluation of matters pertaining to his/her assigned areas of responsibility.  He/she is responsible for the organization, coordination, and interpretation of the sport being coached.  

 

SALARY:  As per contract.
