NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION:                          Bus Drivers 

REPORTS TO:                     Transportation Supervisor

STARTING DATE:               Immediately. Will train if necessary.  

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Commercial driver’s license B with air brake and P & S endorsements.
• Ability to secure a medical examiner’s certificate.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen test and criminal records check.
• Has completed (or will complete) a three-day beginners’ school bus course.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School graduate.
• Certificate of continuing education.
• Experience as a bus driver.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  As per bus drivers’ terms of employment. Training will be paid for by the school district.

SALARY:   $20/hr. during training. $25/hr. when assigned a route. A guarantee of four hours per day once assigned to a route, with the opportunity for additional hours and trips.
